Home Care Transition Fund

To provide financial assistance to Commonwealth funded home care providers who are insolvent, or at imminent risk of becoming insolvent or bankrupt, as a result of the change from pre-service delivery payments to post-service delivery payments by the Commonwealth.

This objective also has the effect it would have if it were limited to being a measure for the provision of, or incidental to the provision of, sickness benefits (within the meaning of paragraph 51(xxiiiA) of the Constitution).
