1994 No. 73 FISHING LEVY (EAST COAST DEEP WATER FISHERY) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2

2.1 Omit the regulation, substitute: Amount of levy

"3. (1) For the purposes of section 6 of the Levy Act, the amount of levy
prescribed for a fishing permit that is granted for 3 months is:

   (a)  in the case of a permit granted on or before 30 June 1993-$788; and

   (b)  in the case of a permit granted in the period beginning on 1 July 1993
        and ending at the end of 30 June 1994-$723.



"(2) For the purposes of section 6 of the Levy Act, the amount of levy
prescribed for a fishing permit that is granted for 12 months is:

   (a)  in the case of a permit granted on or before 30 June 1993-$3,400; and

   (b)  in the case of a permit granted in the period beginning on 1 July 1993
        and ending at the end of 30 June 1994-$2,889.".
