1988 No. 133 FISHERIES LEVY (EAST COAST TUNA LONGLINE FISHERY) REGULATIONS - REG 3

3. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:

"boat" has the same meaning as in the Fisheries Act 1952;

"endorsement" means an endorsement under subsection 9 (4) of the Fisheries Act
1952 of a licence, being an endorsement that extends the licence endorsed to
authorise the use of the boat in respect of which the licence is granted for
the purpose in respect of which the licence is granted in an area of waters to
which the notice applies in respect of fish to which the notice applies;

"licence" means a licence granted under subsection 9 (2) or (3) of the
Fisheries Act 1952;

"notice" means Fisheries Notice No. 214 published in the Gazette on 29 June
1988 and in force under section 8 of that Act;

"the Act" means the Fisheries Levy Act 1984.
