1986 No. 397 FISHERIES LEVY (NORTHERN PRAWN FISHERY) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 3

3. Regulation 6 of the Fisheries Levy (Northern Prawn Fishery) Regulations is
amended by omitting sub-regulations (2) and (3) and substituting the following
sub-regulations:

"(2) The amount of the levy imposed by paragraph 5 (bc) of the Act on the
allocation of a prescribed unit of fishing capacity referred to in paragraph 5
(1) (a) of these Regulations is -

   (a)  where the number of Class A units of fishing capacity determined under
        the plan of management in relation to the boat is not more than 375 -
        $5; or

   (b)  in any other case - $10.

"(3) The amount of the levy imposed by paragraph 5 (bc) of the Act on the
allocation of a prescribed unit of fishing capacity referred to in paragraph 5
(1) (b) of these Regulations is $10.

"(4) The amount of the levy imposed by paragraph 5 (bd) of the Act on the
renewal of the allocation of a prescribed unit of fishing capacity referred to
in paragraph 5 (1) (a) of these Regulations is -

   (a)  where the number of Class A units of fishing capacity determined under
        the plan of management in relation to the boat is not more than 375 -
        $5; or

   (b)  in any other case - $10.

"(5) The amount of the levy imposed by paragraph 5 (bd) of the Act on the
renewal of the allocation of a prescribed unit of fishing capacity referred to
in paragraph 5 (1) (b) of these Regulations is $10.".
