1984 No. 425 FAMILY LAW RULES - ORDER 13 RULE 2

Orders without formal application
2. In or in relation to proceedings, the court may, without formal
application, make orders with respect to-

   (a)  the service of documents and dispensing with the service of documents;

   (b)  the discovery, inspection and production of documents;

   (c)  admission of facts or of documents;

   (d)  particulars;

   (e)  the presentation of evidence by affidavit or in other documentary
        form;

   (f)  the answering of specific questions;

   (g)  the obtaining of a court counsellor's report or a welfare officer's
        report in accordance with section 62A of the Act;

   (h)  a stay of proceedings under Order 4, rule 3; or

        (i)    any other matter relating to practice or procedure that will
               assist to provide a prompt and inexpensive resolution of the
               matters in issue between the parties.
