1984 No. 425 FAMILY LAW RULES - ORDER 18 RULE 7

Personal service
7. (1) Personal service of a document on a person shall not be effected by the
person on whose behalf the document is served but may be effected by another
person in the presence of the person on whose behalf the document is served.

(2) Personal service of a document may be effected on a body corporate by
leaving a copy of that document at the registered office of the body corporate
or, if there is no registered office, at the principal place of business or
the principal office with some person apparently an officer of, or in the
service of, the body corporate and apparently of or above the age of 16 years.

(3) If a person refuses or fails to accept a document that is to be delivered
to or left with that person, the document shall be deemed to be delivered to
or left with that person if it is put down in that person's presence and the
person serving the document tells the first-mentioned person the nature of it.
