1984 No. 425 FAMILY LAW RULES - ORDER 19 RULE 5
Filing of request and answers
5. (1) A party to proceedings who has filed and served on each other party to
the proceedings a document setting out-
(a) a request for particulars, further particulars or answers, or any part
of such a request; and
(b) the particulars, further particulars or answers, or the grounds of
objection or inability to give the same, given in response to that
request or part, may use in the proceedings, whether in evidence or
otherwise, the whole or any part of the matter set out in the
document.
(2) Where an answer, or a particular or ground of inability or objection, or
any part thereof, is used under sub-rule (1), the court may look at the whole
of the answers, particulars or grounds and, if the court is of opinion that
the answer, particular or ground ought not to be used without any other
answer, particular or ground, the court may direct that the other answer,
particular or ground be used in the proceedings.
