1984 No. 425 FAMILY LAW RULES - ORDER 2 RULE 2

Requirements with respect to documents
2. A document shall, unless the nature of the document renders it
impracticable or these Rules otherwise provide-

   (a)  be legible, without blotting, erasure or material disfigurement, in
        one or a combination of any of the following forms, that is to say,
        typewriting, machine printing or reproduction by mechanical,
        electronic, photographic or other means;

   (b)  have a space of not less than 6 millimetres between each line;

   (c)  be upon white paper of good and durable quality and capable of
        receiving ink writing, being paper of the size known as International
        A4;

   (d)  be written upon one side only of the paper with a margin on the left
        hand side of the paper of 30 millimetres or thereabouts;

   (e)  have each page numbered; and

   (f)  have a cover sheet upon which appears the number and title of the
        proceedings or matter, the return day or the next hearing day (if any)
        and a brief indication of the nature of the proceedings or matter to
        which the document relates, a brief description of the document and
        the name, address and telephone number of the party, or the solicitor
        for the party, by or on whose behalf the document is filed or is to be
        delivered or served.
