1984 No. 425 FAMILY LAW RULES - ORDER 23 RULE 14

14. (1) The court may, subject to such conditions as it thinks fit, remove a
person from the office of next friend of a person under disability if-

   (a)  the person makes application to retire from the office; or

   (b)  the court considers that it is desirable that the person should be
        removed from the office.

(2) Where the court makes an order under sub-rule (1) it may stay the
proceedings until a next friend is appointed in place of the next friend
removed.
