1984 No. 425 FAMILY LAW RULES - ORDER 30 RULE 2
Evidence in chief to be on affidavit
2. (1) Unless the Court otherwise orders, evidence in an application for a
decree of dissolution of marriage or nullity, shall be given orally.
(2) Subject to sub-rule (1) on the hearing of an application evidence in chief
shall be given by affidavit unless the Court otherwise directs.
