1984 No. 425 FAMILY LAW RULES - ORDER 38 RULE 18

Witnesses' expenses
18. An amount paid by a solicitor for the attendance of a witness at a hearing
of proceedings is a disbursement properly incurred for the proceedings if-

   (a)  the attendance was reasonably required for the proceedings; and

   (b)  the amount does not exceed the amount that would have been payable if
        the proceedings had been an action before the Supreme Court of the
        State or Territory in which the proceedings were heard.
