FISHING LEVY REGULATIONS 1997 No. 312 - REG 12.1

12.1 In this Part:

"SBTF fishing right" means a statutory fishing right described in clause 8 of
the Southern Bluefin Tuna Fishery Management Plan 1995, as in force from time
to time;

"season" has the same meaning as in the Fisheries Management (Southern Bluefin
Tuna Fishery) Regulations. [NOTE: Regulation 2A of the Fisheries Management
(Southern Bluefin Tuna
Fishery) Regulations defines "season" to mean:

   (a)  the period commencing at the beginning of 16 December 1996 and ending
        at the end of 30 November 1997; and

   (b)  for subsequent seasons - the period commencing at the beginning of 1
        December in a year and ending at the end of 30 November in the
        following year.]
