For section 6 of the Levy Act, the amount of levy for a CSF fishing permit in force on 4 January 2000 is $1,560.

The proportion of this levy that is the research component of the levy will be specified in the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation Regulations. It is intended that the amount of the research component will be $60.
