- A party may, no later than 7 days before a hearing or 28 days before a
trial, by written notice, require another party to produce, at the hearing or
trial, a specified document that is in the possession or control of the other
party.

- A party receiving a notice under subrule (1) must produce the
document at the hearing or trial.
