The court must ensure, in the conduct of a trial, that:

(a)

the parties focus on issues that are in dispute; and

(b)

the case is conducted expeditiously.

An affidavit must not be relied on at the trial unless it is filed in accordance with these Rules or an order (see subrule 15.06 (1)).
