FAMILY LAW RULES 20042003 No. 375 - RULE 19.17
Setting aside costs agreement
The court may set aside a costs agreement if:
- (a)
- it is unfair or
unreasonable;
- (b)
- it does not comply with this Part;
- (c)
- the client was subject to undue influence or misrepresentation, or was
fraudulently induced to enter the agreement; or
- (d)
- the lawyer has not complied with rule 19.03, subrule 19.14 (2)
or (4) or rule 19.15.
