FAMILY LAW RULES 20042003 No. 375 - RULE 19.18

Lawyer and client costs
The maximum amount of costs that a lawyer may charge and recover from a client for work done for a case is:

(a)
an amount calculated in accordance with a costs agreement between the lawyer and the client for the work; or

(b)
if there is no costs agreement, an amount calculated in accordance with Schedule 3.
