FAMILY LAW RULES 20042003 No. 375 - RULE 22.15

Fixing of first court date

On the filing of a pre-argument statement, the Regional Appeal Registrar must:

(a)
fix a date for the first court date for the appeal before a Judge of the Appeal Division that is as near as practicable to 28 days after the filing of the pre-argument statement; and

(b)
give the parties to the appeal written notice of the Appeal Registry and the first court date.

Note
An application or appeal may be listed before another Judge if there is no Judge of the Appeal Division available (see rule 1.13).
