FAMILY LAW RULES 20042003 No. 375 - RULE 22.31

Procedural orders for conduct of appeal

(1) The procedural orders made by a Judge in chambers under subrule 22.28 (2) or at a procedural hearing must include orders about the following:
(a) a timetable for the filing, by each party, of:

(i)
a list of documents to be relied on by the party;
(ii)
a summary of argument; and
(iii)
a list of authorities to be relied on;
(b)
the party to be responsible for ensuring that the documents mentioned in rule 22.32 are before the court at the hearing of the appeal;

(c) a timetable for the party responsible to obtain, file and serve:

(i)
the Magistrate's reasons for judgment; and
(ii)
those parts of the transcript of the hearing likely to be relevant to the appeal;
(d)
a date for the hearing of the appeal.

(2)
A summary of argument filed by a party as required by an order made under subparagraph (1) (a) (ii) must comply with subrule 22.26 (2).
