FAMILY LAW RULES 20042003 No. 375 - RULE 4.18

Application of Division 4.2.5

This Division applies to:

(a)
an application under the Assessment Act, other than an application for leave to appeal from an order of a court exercising jurisdiction under the Assessment Act; and

(b)
an appeal under the Assessment Act or Registration Act, other than an appeal from a court.

Note 1
Chapter 2 provides for a Form 1 to be used to make an Application for Final Orders and the documents to be filed with that Form.
Note 2
Chapter 22 sets out the procedure for appealing from a decision of a court.
Note 3
The Assessment Act provides that the parties to a Child Support Application or Appeal should be the liable parent and the eligible carer. The Child Support Registrar does not need to be joined as a party but, after being served with a copy of the application, may intervene in the case.
