If a respondent objects to an application being determined by the court in the
absence of the parties:
- (a)
- the respondent must notify the court and the
other party, in writing, of the objection at least 7 days before the date
fixed for the hearing; and
- (b)
- the parties must attend on the first court date for the application.

A notice under this rule must comply with rule 24.01.
