Service of a document may be carried out by special service (see Part 7.2) or ordinary service (see Part 7.3) unless otherwise required by a legislative provision.

Note
Certain applications must have other documents served with them. For example, an Application for Final Orders (Form 1), when served, must be accompanied by the brochure mentioned in subrule 2.03 (3); when a subpoena is served, the witness must be paid conduct money.
