informally managed fishery is a fishery that is managed by AFMA under the Management Regulations, but for which there is no management plan, and to which regulation 4B of those Regulations does not apply.
leviable IMF purse seine for pilchards and sandy sprat species permit means a fishing permit:
(a) for fishing by purse seine for pilchards and sandy sprat species in an informally managed fishery; and
(b) that is in force on or after the commencement of these Regulations and on or before 30 June 2008; and
(c) that does not include a fishing permit that is issued only to authorise the testing of fishing equipment.
leviable IMF purse seine for scalefish and other species permit means a fishing permit:
(a) for fishing by purse seine for scalefish and other species in an informally managed fishery; and
(b) that is in force on or after the commencement of these Regulations and on or before 30 June 2008; and
(c) that does not include a fishing permit that is issued only to authorise the testing of fishing equipment.
