Financial Management and Accountability Regulations 1997

1  Schedule 1 (table item 181)

Repeal the item.

2  Part 4 of Schedule 1AA (table item 410.004)

Repeal the item, substitute:

410.004

Financial Management

 

Objective: To improve the financial knowledge, skills, capabilities and financial resilience of vulnerable individuals and families and to alleviate the immediate impact of financial stress, and to progress initiatives in relation to problem gambling. Includes funding for research and stakeholder engagement and funding to peak bodies and other stakeholder organisations

3  Part 4 of Schedule 1AA (table item 410.008)

Repeal the item, substitute:

410.008

Allowances, Concessions and Services for Seniors

 

Objective: To make payments and provide services to senior Australians: to assist with household expenses; to enable them to maintain their standard of living; and to increase their access to information and community resources

4  Part 4 of Schedule 1AA (table item 426.001)

Repeal the item, substitute:

426.001

Support for Markets and Business and the Development and Operation of the Commonwealth Superannuation System

 

Objective: To provide grant funding to the Centre for International Finance and Regulation, to make payments in respect to insurance claims arising from the residual HIH claims support scheme and Housing Loans Insurance Company Limited portfolio, and to provide grant funding to the Superannuation Consumer Centre to develop policy, conduct research and provide information and assistance to consumers in relation to Commonwealth-regulated superannuation
