1 Paragraph 3A(1)(c)
Omit "promote 1 or more", substitute "help to address one or more".
2 Paragraph 3A(1)(d)
Repeal the paragraph, substitute:
(d) under which the recipient may be required to act in accordance with specified terms or conditions.
3 Paragraphs 3A(2)(b), (c) and (d)
Repeal the paragraphs, substitute:
(b) an act of grace payment approved under section 33 of the Act;
(c) a payment of compensation made under:
(i) an arrangement relating to defective administration; or
(ii) an arrangement relating to employment conditions; or
(iii) an arrangement established by legislation;
(d) a payment to a person of a benefit or entitlement established by legislation;
4 Paragraph 3A(2)(f)
Omit "of public money".
5 Subregulation 3A(2) (note)
Repeal the note, substitute:
Note 1: The Commonwealth has regard to the definition of official development assistance that the OECD has set out in its DAC Statistical Reporting Directives, available on the OECD's website.
Note 2: A gift of public property is not a grant as described in subregulation (1). Section 43 of the Act provides for gifts of this kind.
