FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND ACCOUNTABILITY REGULATIONS 1997 No. 328 - REG 7

7. (1) The Finance Minister may issue guidelines (to be called

"Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines") about matters relating to the
procurement of property and services, including:

   (a)  matters affecting Commonwealth contracts or agency agreements; and

   (b)  the publication of details of Commonwealth contracts and agency 
        agreements; and

   (c)  the disposal of public property.

(2) Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines must not be inconsistent with:

   (a)  the Act; or

   (b)  these Regulations; or

   (c)  FMA Orders.

(3) Commonwealth Procurement Guidelines may require that a matter must be
published in the Gazette.
