FEDERAL MAGISTRATES COURT RULES 2001 2001 No. 195- RULE 11.12
Authorised persons
- (1)
- If a person is authorised by or under an Act to conduct legal proceedings
in the name of or for a person who needs a litigation guardian, the authorised
person is entitled to be the litigation guardian in any proceeding to which
the authority extends.
- (2)
- The Attorney-General may appoint in writing a
person to be an authorised person for the purposes of this rule, either
generally or for a particular person.
- (3)
- An authorised person becomes the litigation guardian of a person who needs
a litigation guardian in a proceeding if the authorised person files an
affidavit of consent in relation to the person.
