1983 No. 148 GREAT BARRIER REEF MARINE PARK (PROHIBITION OF DRILLING FOR PETROLEUM) REGULATIONS - SCHEDULE 1

SCHEDULE 1
Sub-regulation 4 (1)
The area, the boundary of which-

        (i)    commences at the point of intersection of the coastline of the
               mainland
at low water by the parallel of Latitude 14 degrees
24' South;

   (ii) runs thence east along that parallel to its intersection by the 5
kilometre line;

   (iii) thence generally northerly and north-westerly along that 5 kilometre
        line to its intersection by the meridian of Longitude 144 degrees
38' East;

   (iv) thence south-westerly along the geodesic to the point of intersection
        of
the meridian of Longitude 144 degrees
35.7' East by the coastline of the mainland
at low water; and

        (v)    thence generally easterly, south-easterly and southerly along
               that
coastline to the point of commencement.
