1983 No. 232 GREAT BARRIER REEF MARINE PARK (PROHIBITION OF DRILLING FOR PETROLEUM) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 3

3. Regulation 4 of the Principal Regulations is repealed and the following
regulation substituted:

"4. (1) A person shall not drill for petroleum in any part of the Great
Barrier Reef Region that does not for the time being form part of the Marine
Park.

"(2) A person who contravenes this regulation is guilty of an offence
punishable, on conviction, by a fine not exceeding $1,000 for each day during
which the offence continues.".
