7. Regulation 9 of the Principal Regulations is amended-
(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "within 70 days after the receipt of
the application"; and

   (b)  by omitting paragraph (1)(b) and substituting the following paragraph:



"(b) inviting interested persons to lodge with the Authority comments in
writing in relation to the application within a period specified by the
Authority, being a period of not less than 30 days; and".
