1987 No. 247 GREAT BARRIER REEF MARINE PARK REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 16

16. Regulation 18 of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after
subregulation (2) the following subregulation:

"(2A) Subregulation (1) does not apply to the use by a person of an underwater
breathing apparatus (other than a snorkel) or of a power-head where that use
is:

   (a)  for the purposes of scientific research; and

   (b)  in accordance with the written permission of the Authority given for
        the purposes of this regulation.".
