1989 No. 13 GOVERNOR-GENERAL REGULATIONS - REG 3

3. (1) For the purposes of subsection 8 (2) of the Act, the following
allowances are prescribed, namely:

   (a)  the clothing establishment allowance referred to in subregulation 4
        (1) or (2);

   (b)  the clothing maintenance allowance referred to in subregulation 4 (3);
        and

   (c)  the allowances payable to a Level 4 officer in the Senior Executive
        Service of the Australian Public Service.

(2) The allowances referred to in paragraphs (1) (a) and (b) apply in respect
of the Official Secretary:

   (a)  with effect from and including 22 April 1987; and

   (b)  as if the person who was Official Secretary on 22 April 1987 was
        appointed as Official Secretary on that day.
