6. (1) A return referred to in regulation 4-

   (a)  shall be signed-

        (i)    by the proprietor of the processing establishment or processing
               establishments to which the return relates or by his or her
               authorised agent; or

        (ii)   where the proprietor of the processing establishment or
               processing establishments to which the return relates is a
               company, co-operative society or authority-by a director or
               secretary of the company, co-operative society or authority;
               and

   (b)  shall be furnished to the Secretary by lodging it at the office of the
        Department in Canberra.

(2) In sub-regulation (1), a reference to a company shall be read as including
a reference to a co-operative society incorporated under a law of a State or
Territory.
