Commonwealth Numbered Regulations Commonwealth Numbered RegulationsA prescribed function of the Chief Executive Medicare is to allocate identification numbers for the purposes of the Health Insurance Act to the following persons in relation to their places of practice:
(a) practitioners;
(b) approved pathology practitioners;
(c) participating midwives;
(d) participating nurse practitioners;
(e) participating optometrists;
(f) persons providing health services determined under section 3C of that Act.
