HAZARDOUS WASTE (REGULATION OF EXPORTS AND IMPORTS) (WAIGANI CONVENTION) REGULATIONS 1999 1999 No. 7 - REG 8

(1) The Minister may publish a notice in the Gazette, setting out, for a
Party:

   (a)  the authority of the Party that is the Competent Authority for the
        Convention, and the address of that authority; and

   (b)  the language that is acceptable to the Party. Note For Competent
        Authority, see Articles 1 and 5 of the Convention.

(2) For that notice, the Minister may rely on any information supplied by a
Party from time to time, and is not obliged to verify that the information is
correct.
