INSURANCE CONTRACTS REGULATIONS 2017 (F2017L01658) - REG 7

             (1)  This section is made for the purposes of paragraph 22(4)(a) of the Act.

             (2)  The form of writing that may be used to inform an insured of the matters mentioned in subsection 22(1) of the Act is:

                     (a)  for a contract of general insurance that is not an eligible contract of insurance--the form set out in Part 1 of Schedule 1; and

                     (b)  for a contract of life insurance--the form set out in Part 2 of Schedule 1; and

                     (c)  for the original entering into of an eligible contract of insurance--the form set out in Part 3 of Schedule 1; and

                     (d)  for the renewal of an eligible contract of insurance--the form set out in Part 4 of Schedule 1.

             (3)  The form of writing that may be used to inform another person who may become a life insured of the matters mentioned in subsection 22(1) of the Act is set out in Schedule 2.
