1994 No. 110 INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COURT RULES - ORDER 24 RULE 1
Order for examination of witness-Forms 37, 38 and 39
1. The Court may, for the purpose of proceedings in the Court, make orders:
(a) for the examination of any person on oath before a Judge or before
such other person as the Court may appoint as examiner at any place
whether in or out of Australia; or
(b) for the sending of a letter of request to the judicial authorities of
another country to take, or cause to be taken, the evidence of any
person.
1A. The Court may in its discretion take evidence from a witness by telephone
or video link or other similar means in accordance with such procedures as
the Court directs.
