1994 No. 110 INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COURT RULES - ORDER 48 RULE 3

3. (1) Not later than two days before the date appointed for a directions
hearing, the applicant must serve a sealed copy of the application and the
statutory declaration on all other proper parties in the inquiry.

(2) The copy of the application for service under subrule (1) must bear a note

   (a)  of the time and place for a directions hearing; and

   (b)  that if there is no appearance by the party served or his or her
        counsel or solicitor at the directions hearing, the proceeding may be
        heard and orders made in his or her absence.
