1994 No. 357 INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS COURT RULES - ORDER 11 RULE 14

14. (1) If there is no reply to a defence, there shall be an implied joinder
of issue on that defence.

(2) Subject to subrule (3), a joinder of issue operates as a denial of every
allegation of fact made in the pleading on which there is a joinder of issue.

(3) A party may admit or specifically plead to allegations of fact made in the
pleading on which there is a joinder of issue, in which case the joinder shall
operate as a denial of every other allegation of fact.
