82. (1) A notice referred to in paragraph 244 (1) (b) of the Act shall:

   (a)  if the ballot is in respect of a proposed amalgamation-be in
        accordance with Form 5; or

   (b)  if the ballot is on the question of a proposed alternative
        amalgamation-be in accordance with Form 6.

(2) A notice referred to in subregulation (1) in relation to a ballot shall,
in addition to being published in the Gazette in accordance with paragraph 244
(1) (b) of the Act, be published in a newspaper or newspapers circulating in
each State or Territory specified in any address shown in the organisations's
register of members, kept in accordance with subsection 268 (1) of the Act, as
being the postal address of a member.
