1986 No. 291 INTERSTATE ROAD TRANSPORT REGULATIONS - REG 9
Registered motor vehicle, &c., to be insured
9. The owner of a registered motor vehicle or trailer shall ensure that, at
all times during the currency of the period for which the motor vehicle or
trailer is registered, there is in force a third-party policy in respect of
the use of the motor vehicle or trailer issued by the approved insurer, or an
approved insurer, in relation to the motor vehicle or trailer.
