INCOME TAX ASSESSMENT AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2006 (NO. 1) (SLI NO 60 OF 2006)

- Description:These regulations update the Income Tax Assessment Regulations 1997 (the Regulations) to reflect the increase in the private health insurance offset to 35 per cent for persons aged over 65 years and 40 per cent for persons aged over 70 years. The Regulations set out the information that private health funds must issue to members in the annual statement including the rate of tax offset.
