1983 No. 319 INCOME TAX REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 2

2. Where, before the date of commencement of these Regulations, an employee
has furnished to his employer or to the Commissioner of Taxation a Medicare
levy variation declaration in accordance with the form of a Medicare levy
variation declaration under Subdivision A of Division 2 of Part VI of the
Income Tax Regulations as amended by these Regulations, the provisions of that
Subdivision (other than regulation 54DAM) apply in relation to that Medicare
levy variation declaration as if it had been so furnished on that date and had
been made under and for the purposes of that Subdivision.
