1992 No. 367 MIGRATION (1993) REGULATIONS - REG 8.2

8.2. (1) Despite the repeal effected by regulation 8.1, the Migration (1989)
Regulations continue to apply to:

   (a)  an application for a visa or entry permit made before the commencement
        of these Regulations; and

   (b)  review, or proceedings for review, of a decision in relation to an
        application referred to in paragraph (a); and

   (c)  proceedings under subsection 57 (3) of the Act begun before the
        commencement of these Regulations; and

   (d)  proceedings by a prescribed authority under subsection 92 (4) or 93
        (6) of the Act begun before the commencement of these Regulations.

(2) Despite the repeal effected by regulation 8.1, notices made by the
Minister under regulation 3B of the Migration (1989) Regulations continue in
force, and may be amended or repealed, as if made under these Regulations.

(3) Subregulations (1) and (2) are taken not to affect the application of the
relevant provisions of Part III, or of section 50, of the Acts  Interpretation
Act 1901 .
