31. A summons referred to in subsection 132 (3) of the Act may be served on a
person:

   (a)  by delivering the summons to the person personally or to a person duly
        authorised to receive documents on behalf of that first-mentioned
        person; or

   (b)  by leaving it at the last-known place of residence of the person with
        a person apparently an occupant of that place and apparently not less
        than 16 years of age; or

   (c)  by sending the summons by certified post to the last-known place of
        residence of that person.
