1996 No. 211 MIGRATION REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 17

(NOTE: The note relating to Division 103.1 should be altered by the omission
of the reference to "eligible New Zealand citizen".)
17.1 Clause 103.211: Omit the clause, substitute:

"103.211 The applicant is a parent of a settled Australian citizen.".

17.2 After subclause 103.212 (1), insert:

"(1A) For the purposes of subclauses (2) and (3), 'the child' means the
Australian citizen referred to in clause 103.211.".

17.3 Subparagraph 103.212 (2) (b) (ii): Omit the subparagraph, substitute:

"(ii) is a settled Australian citizen.".

17.4 Subparagraph 103.212 (3) (a) (ii): Omit the subparagraph, substitute:

"(ii) is a settled Australian citizen; or".

17.5 Subparagraph 103.212 (3) (b) (iii): Omit the subparagraph, substitute:

"(iii) is a settled Australian citizen; or".

17.6 Subparagraph 103.212 (3) (c) (iii): Omit the subparagraph, substitute:

"(iii) is a settled Australian citizen; or".

17.7 Subclause 103.212 (4): Omit the subclause.
