[1]           After regulation 37J

insert

37K          Price reduction -- prescribed reduction day

                For subsection 99ADH (2) of the Act, the reduction day is 1 April or 1 August in any year.

[2]           Regulation 38, after definition of C ommittee

insert

"Drug Utilisation Sub-Committee" means the sub-committee of that name established under section 101A of the Act.

"Economics Sub-Committee" means the sub-committee of that name established under section 101A of the Act.

[3]           After regulation 47

insert

48             Remuneration for chair and members of sub-committees

                For paragraph 140 (a) of the Act, the fees and allowances payable to the chair and members of the Drug Utilisation Sub‑Committee and the Economics Sub‑Committee are the amounts that are payable to the chair and members of professional committees under Schedule B to the Remuneration Tribunal Determination 2008/07: Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Part-Time Public Office .
