NATIONAL HEALTH (REGISTERED HEALTH BENEFITS ORGANIZATIONS) REGULATIONS 2000 2000 No. 357 - REG 27
Admission and rejection of proofs for purposes of voting
- (1)
- The chairperson of a meeting has power to admit or reject a proof of debt
or claim for the purposes of voting.
- (2)
- If the chairperson is in doubt
whether a proof of debt or claim should be admitted or rejected, he or she
must mark the proof as objected to and allow the creditor to vote, subject to
the vote being declared invalid if the objection is sustained.
- (3)
- A decision by the chairperson to admit or reject a proof of debt or claim
for the purposes of voting may be appealed against to the Court within 14 days
after the decision.
