1979 No. 151 NORFOLK ISLAND LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY (TEMPORARY CLERK) REGULATIONS - REG 3

3. (1) The Minister may appoint a person to be temporary clerk to the
Legislative Assembly.

(2) A person so appointed shall, until a person is appointed under the
Legislative Assembly Ordinance 1979 to be the Clerk, or to act as Clerk, to
the Legislative Assembly, act as Clerk to the Legislative Assembly and, until
the Legislative Assembly otherwise determines, has such powers, functions and
duties as the Minister determines.

(3) The Minister may appoint a person to be deputy temporary clerk to the
Legislative Assembly.

(4) A person so appointed shall, until a person is appointed to be the Clerk,
or to act as Clerk, to the Legislative Assembly, assist the temporary Clerk to
the Legislative Assembly in the exercise and performance of the powers,
functions and duties of the temporary clerk.
