NATIONAL MEASUREMENT REGULATIONS 1999 1999 No. 110 1999 - REG 42

Matters to be stated in certificates
A certificate must state:

(a)
the name and address of the certifying authority; and

(b)
that the measuring instrument is certified:

(i)
if a certifying authority certified the instrument — by the certifying authority; or
(ii)
if a certifying authority supervised certification of the instrument — under the supervision of the certifying authority; and
(c)
the identity of the certified measuring instrument by reference to the identifying mark on, or attached to, the instrument; and

(d)
the number of the certificate; and

(e)
the date of certification; and

(f)
that the measuring instrument is found to operate within the maximum permissible errors for that type of measuring instrument; and

(g)
the accuracy with which the instrument is certified; and

(h)
the period, from the date of verification, for which the certificate is given.
